„The way to Mongolia“ – Movie
In the summer of 2015, a group of 5 Americans- Danny Sass, Kyle Kott, Wilson Reese, Mohit Mehan and Josh Ober started the Mongolian Charity Rally. (mongolia.charityrallies.org/) They planned for months, getting visas and raising money on GoFundMe to help Mongolian children with education and health projects. Starting in Dormagen, Germany, they drove through 18 countries to their final destination Ulaanbaatar, the capital of Mongolia. It was the adventure of a lifetime. I joined to the group in Kazakhstan. At the border of Mongolia, we met a wonderful group- Cinema du Desert (cinemadudesert.org), from Italy, showing films in villages and towns to children and adults to promote sharing and humanity without profit. We also met Elke and Karsten (2015.edeundsten.de) at the same time were traveling in their amazing RV through Mongolia onwards to Southeast Asia and beyond. Along the way we lost a few team members and gained Arina Che Tadyr (Altay, Russia) travelling with us.
Thanks to all who made this journey possible and to all who donated for the children of Mongolia. This video is a brief highlight of the wonders, landscapes and people we encountered on this adventure.
